- Wheelchair Friendly Colleges and Universities
- The primary goal of this site is to identify colleges and universities which offer total and hassle-free wheelchair accessibility right now. These schools foster a culture of full inclusion by having already eliminated architectural barriers, and by actively recognizing the need for and participating in the ongoing process of arranging for personal care attendants to help with daily transferring, bathing, toileting and medical needs. Also, specialized services such as wheelchair repair are often available on campus. Usually, schools with outstanding wheelchair accessibility also excel in services and accommodations for other disabilities.
